Profile

• 1982 – Civil Engineer from M. S. University, Vadodara
• 1982 – Joined Dodsal Limited in 1982 & worked with them for 8 Yrs at various positions in design department, and developed many towers and foundation designs up to 400 KV transmission lines and substations.
• 1983 – Developed various programmes to expedite design process.
• 1990 – Joined Urja Engineers.. Developed full fledge design department. Also worked in tendering, marketing, quality control and construction of transmission lines.
• 1998 – Joined Kalpataru Power transmission Ltd (KPTL). Handled engineering of numerous domestic and international projects for all continents. Travelled in more than 20 countries for the projects. Also Involved in getting R & D recognition and became Head R & D department at KPTL. Implemented various innovative ideas in the design and construction of transmission line towers and foundations, to reduce the cost / expedite the work.

While working with KPTL presented various technical papers in national and international conferences. Became member of “Panel of Experts” of CBIP, Member of sub- committee for IS 802, and contributed for IS code and CBIP Manual on transmission line. Got international award from CIGRE – Paris in 2014.

2016 – Joined ADANI Transmission Limited as SVP-Engineering. The largest and fastest growing private transmission utility.. Established state of art facilities.
